RE: New bank
I left BofA a few years ago after they royally pissed me off on several occasions. I'm now with New Resource Bank in San Francisco. They're small, focused on investing in green business/technology, and have fantastic customer service. I have real people's emails and phone numbers who I can call and get help from -- I love it. I do all my banking online or by mail -- in three years, I've gone there in person only once for a very specific service. They even reimburse you for ATM fees at other banks.
I never thought I'd say this, but I love my bank. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a new place.
