let the craziness begin!- update already!
Today is the rehearsal for my BIL and future SIL's wedding. Starting today, the family is expecting lots of craziness. You may recall, this is the potluck wedding with a huge number of people invited (300). The wedding party has been doing and needs to do a ton of stuff now until Sunday to help out.
And it turns out my parents will be coming to the wedding. My MIL and mom get along really well. They were making plans for lunch this week. My MIL said to my mom, "So we'll see you Sunday?"
Mom, "No."
MIL, "Why not?"
Mom, "We were not invited."
MIL, "Those little sh*ts! Of course you are. You have to be there. Either the wedding is going to be a ton of fun or a disaster. Either way, you need to see it!"
Mom, "We'll be there!"

Ok, so DH called me at 12:30 while I was at work. The bride is currently in the hospital with kidney stones! I am waiting to hear more from DH about what is going on. Obviously, the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner are off for the night.
Is this karma or something? We've been joking for ages about how crazy this weekend is going to be. We were not thinking that the bride would end up in the hospital!

And the craziness continues. The bride passed the stones. So...the rehearsal is now back on. It starts in 35 minutes and takes me about 40 to get there. Gotta get dressed again and moving! Just thought you would be interested. What a day!

Wow sounds like craziness already
Well, we had the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. After all the craziness during the day with the bride in the hospital and the guys trying on their tuxes and 5 out of 6 did not fit, it all came together last night. The rehearsal went smoothly with those who were able to make it since it had been canceled earlier in the day. Dinner after was a lot of fun.
