Hey, you are married now!?  I have not been on the knot in a long time.  How was everything?

  • Hi!  Yes, I'm married now-- it's been just over a month, and so far so good.  ;)

The wedding was WONDERFUL.  The ship looked beautiful, everything came out just the way I wanted it.  The ceremony was lovely, the reception was fun...  Even now, I'm tickled pink.

Thank you again for letting me come by to see  the set up on the day of your wedding.  That's one of the nicest things anyone did for me during the wedding planning process, and I really appreciate it!

  • Good!  I'm so glad it turned out the way you wanted.  It has almost been a year for us and i can not believe it.  Time flies!!!!

I love your blog.  My husband works in Real Estate and has owned a couple of properties here in San Diego.  His first he bought when he was 22 and flipped it to get the condo we are living in now.  Anyway, he loved doing that and always talks about doing it again.  I told him about your guys plan on living off one income to buy another rental and he thought that was a great idea.  I look forward to reading up on how that turns out!

  • Wow, has it really been almost a year?  It doesn't seem like that long!  I'm glad things are going well for you two.

If you go to the July 2008 archives of our blog, you can see "after" pics of our kitchen remodel.  We did almost all the work ourselves, but it was so worth it.  If you (and your husband) have the ability to do put in the sweat equity, your money goes A LOT further.  And you get to feel proud every time you look at your work (or, in the case of our kitchen, every time we cook something)!  =)
