Well, tonight I got the dreaded "thanks but no thanks.  we'll keep your application on file" email from google.  All I have left at this point is an interview on Wednesday for a Kmart position I don't really want.  Finding a job in this economy really sucks!  Especially if you have no previous "professional" work experience.  Does anyone know somewhere that's hiring?

I'm sorry you didn't get the job! That stinks.

 

Have you tried MSU?  I often get emails from them that they are looking for adminstration staff..

That sucks!  It's hard finding ANY job anywhere anymore.  Everyone is cutting back.  Good luck on finding something.

Susan what is your degree in? Have you created a resume and a 'form' cover letter and just sent it to every business that might use someone with your degree? That's what I do with my teaching resume. I send it to every school within an hour drive. Get your resume out to anything you can think of b/c you don't know when they might have a position open that needs to be filled right away. Also, after you send them out, watch for postings at the company and send another one. It's a long, tedious and somewhat expensive process to find a job, but keep at it!
