1. If you were to perform in the circus, what would you do? Something acrobatic I actually have no ability for, like trapeze :-)
2. What was the weirdest food you've ever eaten? Can't think of anything very weird, I guess escargots (yum!) or alligator (yuck)

4. What is set as the background on your computer? At work: a close up of leaves fromt he microsoft background library. At home: a holiday picture from Mexico (scenary)

I can't think of a thing. I'm highly unadventurous.
What is the best/worst pick up line you have ever heard?
Not a pick up line per se, but when a guy I was dancing with whipped out his erection on the dance floor. I expect it was to entice me, but among several other problems with his approach, it was very small.
What is set as the background on your computer?
My neice and nephew in their Mario and Luigi Halloween costumes.

I dunno, that's tough because I have a paralyzing fear of heights...
What was the weirdest food you've ever eaten?
Being a vegetarian since I was 8 has limited the number of weird things I've eaten, since most weird things are not veg.! But I did eat seaweed straight out of the ocean once, on a kayak tour, they told us to try it. That was pretty weird.
What is the best/worst pick up line you have ever heard?
Don't think I've ever gotten a pickup line!
What is set as the background on your computer?
The default screen. Got a new computer in July and haven't bothered to change it yet. I should do that though!

1. Something that keeps my feet on the ground. I'm terrified of heights. Probably Ringmaster.
2. Chocolate covered ants.
3. "Your eyes sparkle like diamonds, your skin looks as soft as silk, your lips are as pink as a just blossoming rose bud. Have dinner with me so I can pamper you and give you what you deserve" Cheesy, but it worked. I had dinner with him and then he expected sex on a first date - didn't call him back. He was sexy though!

I love this, so yummy. I think it's just called bone marrow, in French it's os a moelle.
- If you were to perform in the circus, what would you do?
Hm. Either be one of the animal people or ring master.Nothing really bizarre. In preschool we once picked dandelions, fried them with bacon and ate them. They were pretty good, but what wouldn't taste good fried with bacon?
Best: "If you're half as smart as you are pretty, you'd still be smarter than Einstein." I was 14 at the time and he was my 16-year-old bf. I loved it bc I was always in the "smart" crowd but never considered myself pretty. So he pushed the right button with that one even if it was really cheesy.
Worst: In Syria I was walking down a quiet street and accidentally made eye contact with a young man (I learned pretty quickly not to do that, as it's interpreted as an invitation, but in this case it was just a reflex as we reached a corner at the same time from different directions). He walked right next to me for about 1km, pointing at himself, at me, and then rubbing his index fingers together to indicate what he thought we should be doing next. I didn't know enough practical Arabic to tell him to leave me alone, so I tried a bunch of German (sounds meaner than English), We finally reached a busier part of town and he held out his hand for me to shake with a "well you can't blame me for trying" sheepish look. For the record, I did not accept his quasi-apology.

1. Contortionist. I've been diagnosed with hypermobility, which is apparently what gives contortionists the ability to, er, contort.
2. Venison. I'm not a very adventurous eater.
