Anyone watch Revenge last night?

So, Emily hooked up with Daniel. Do you think she really cares for him, or is this just part of her master plan?

I really hope she does actually care for Daniel, I just can't like the townie guy. He has no personality! I think she didn't expect to become emotionally invested and is struggling with that part of her plan.

Right. I think that too. Now you are seeing why the townie plot is coming into play too. Daniel is going to "cocktail" his way into their storyline. I think she is struggling with that as well. From the last few episodes, it looks like she doesn't want to kill anyone either. It looks like she just wants to take away what's most important to them - their best friend, their money, their job.... not physically harm them. Therefore I don't think she had a part in Daniels murder if it was him in the first place. Although the show wants you to think that because she wiped the sand off her hand. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I really enjoy shows like this - you don't know what's going to happen next, suspense type. I'm really tired of reality TV and so this is a breath of fresh air for me.
Over the weekend I went back and watched the first 5 minutes of the pilot episode just to see what clues were there, now that we know more of the story, and I noticed a few things.
1) You never see the face of the person killed on the beach - Charlotte and Victoria start screaming "Daniel!" I am not convinced that it's him who was killed, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's the slimy friend. (Maybe Daniel kills the slimy friend?)
2) Emily's face when Victoria starts screaming for Daniel - she looks truly concerned.
3) Sand that she brushes off of her hand - the whole party was on the beach, so it really could have come from anything.
4) Nolan looks PISSED at Emily during their brief conversation!
I love this show... it's such a guilty pleasure!
Yeah - you never see the person that is shot. I think the part where Emily brushes her hand off is just a teaser - to make you think it was her that did it. The entire show is about her getting revenge so at first it makes you think she's out to murder the people but that doesn't seem to be here deal - she just wants to take away what they love most - job, money, friends, etc. She's not out to kill them so I don't think she did it either.
I'm SO hooked! I can't wait to see what happens next on this show. I haven't felt this way in a LONG time about a show.
I love this show as well. I don't think emily killed whoever is dead. when she is wiping the sand off of her hand it could be she was on the beach with Jack and she shouldn't be if she is engaged to Daniel.
The killer could be Tyler(the friend) I am really thinking he has a thing for daniel. So maybe it is a jealousy thing. I can't figure out why he wants in with the family.
I really like daniel. I like how he doesn't care about his trust fund and is going to bartend. I like Jack but I'm sorry at 9 years old you don't find your soulmate and name a boat after the girl.
I am still undecided about Nolan. Sometimes I think he really is trying to take care of her. I don't want him to turn out to be a bad guy. The one thing I don't like about him is he looks too young. He has to be mid to late thirties and they have him hanging out with the college age kids.

And boo - I have plans so I'm going to have to watch it another time. This is one show I WANT to watch as soon as it comes on - most I'm like ehhh and DVR it.
