Martiza's interview post reminded me...

Late last night that I should dig through my closet to see what still fits, because I have to speak at the annual board meeting on Monday in Orlando and am meeting our new publisher for the first time. So, this morning I tried on all my work pants, since I'm... I guess 5-7 lbs heavier than what I was in the office, mostly all in the waistband. Fortunately 2 still fit, although with the tops it's going to be questionable because of the giant boobies. Of course this weekend the ILs will be visiting so there's no time to shop, so I guess I'll have to figure something out.

I can see a series of trying on shirts with DH telling me if I look obscene or not. Fun times!

  • I go back to work in 3 weeks and have no idea what I am going to do about clothes. I still have 19 pounds to lose so there is no way my clothes fit. I have not even tried. It looks like I will be stuck in maternity clothes for the rest of the year. I feel like buying new clothes at this size is just accepting that I am not going to lose weight.

  • DP- I feel your pain on tops not fighting properly. I'm hesitant to buy replacement tops. I've been trying to make due. He won't nurse forever, right?

Jacmb- What if you bought a few basics to work with? I bought the size jeans that fit when I was 6 weeks PP because I was tired of maternity jeans falling down. Those jeans are way to big now and packed away with maternity clothes. Enjoy the time at home with your baby girl.
