I bought a few prints that I'd like to hang in the nursery on a 'clothesline' a la:

My
questions - what can I use as string? I wandered aimlessly through
Micheal's tonight and didn't see too many options. Regular yarn is too
thin. They had cowhide-type stuff over in the jewelry section but I
wasn't thrilled with it. They also had metal wire for jewelry making
but I'm not sure how that would hang.
Also, what can I use to cover the eye hooks to make it look more decorative?
