Clothesline art help

I bought a few prints that I'd like to hang in the nursery on a 'clothesline' a la:

My questions - what can I use as string?  I wandered aimlessly through Micheal's tonight and didn't see too many options.  Regular yarn is too thin.  They had cowhide-type stuff over in the jewelry section but I wasn't thrilled with it.  They also had metal wire for jewelry making but I'm not sure how that would hang.

Also, what can I use to cover the eye hooks to make it look more decorative?

Personally, if you are near IKEA, I don't think you can beat the clothelines, so to speak, they sell for just this purpose. They are wire.

I agree about Ikea.  And Michaels or somewhere will have decorative eyes in different colors to match your designs in the scrap booking section.

For the line, you could use jute twine. Probably get it at a hardware store.

Thanks all!  There is an Ikea right near my work so I may be taking a lunch run.  Jute might be a good backup option.

I would second the twine. I love the look of twine and mini clothes pins.
