Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I have seen that, the technology behind it is pretty cool! I can see some good uses for it.
I do worry about the technology becoming so far advanced (down the road) where you don't have to think about your shot at all, as it would all be edited after instead of getting it right in camera.
Ditto- There's something beautiful in the craft of photography. To that extent, while technology may continue to advance, I still think it takes a keen eye to see great images (and not just "point and shoot" mentality).

Oh and on the subject of photography ... I am so sad that I missed shooting during peak this year because of bed rest. I may go into the archives and pull a shot from last year for my siggy.
That's actually pretty awesome.
And I agree with both of you -- no matter how advanced technology gets, it'll still take a human with a good eye for photography to capture the really good shots
OMG that's SO cool! I think I could do so much with a camera like that! It certainly does take the creative eye to capture the right image to start with, no matter what way you edit it after the fact.
