1. What is your favorite thing to do on a cool fall day? Walk around a trail at a park, and then come home for hot apple cider.
2. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? Astronaut
3. What is your favorite childhood dish a parent or grandparent made? (and who made it)I loved it when my mom made Bernese sauce with steak
4. Do you enjoy soft serve ice cream or regular ice cream better? Favorite flavor? Regular ice cream, cookies and cream all the way
5. Plans for the weekend? Tonight, gym, then sushi with friends. Saturday - GT game watching with the local alumni and tons and tons of yard work. Sunday errands and cleaning the house. Probably hit the gym in there somewhere or work out in our garage as well.

4. Do you enjoy soft serve ice cream or regular ice cream better? Favorite flavor? regular - chocolate chip peanut butter cookie dough... or mocha pb cup!
5. Plans for the weekend? SPILL THE BEANS WEEKEND!!! Out w/ inlaw's tonight and dh's close aunt and uncle to fill them in... then out for a friend's bday. tomorrow DH is taking the morning off to hang out w/ me before i do a wedding all day. Sunday we have a fundraiser for Mass Vest a Dog that I photograph every year - THEN over my parents to tell my family and my grandfather! cannot wait LOL - longest weeks of my LIFE.

1. What is your favorite thing to do on a cool fall day? Cook fun fall things, like chili and stew.
2. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? I vaguely remember wanting to be a nurse.
3. What is your favorite childhood dish a parent or grandparent made? (and who made it) My grandmom's matza ball soup.
4. Do you enjoy soft serve ice cream or regular ice cream better? Favorite flavor? Regular. My favorite flavor is cookie dough. But I seem to have become lactose intolerant in the last couple months, so no ice cream for me
5. Plans for the weekend? Not much... running errands tomorrow, then maybe date night with DH. Going down to visit my family on Sunday.
1. What is your favorite thing to do on a cool fall day? Cozy up on the couch with DH and a cup of coffee with the windows cracked.
2. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? Teacher for ages and a singer . . . maybe I should've gone on American Idol lol! What was I thinking?
3. What is your favorite childhood dish a parent or grandparent made? (and who made it) I loved my mom's chicken pot pie and my grandma's potato salad (regular and German Hot!)
4. Do you enjoy soft serve ice cream or regular ice cream better? Favorite flavor? Regular and mint choc chip from Baskin Robbins is my fave!!
5. Plans for the weekend? Today DH is going fishing with his hockey buddies in the afternoon/ early evening, so I'll get take out or a hoagie for dinner (yum!) Then I'm baking the apple streusel cheesecake for Brenna's housewarming party. In the am I'll bake cookies then we'll head over mid afternoon and have dinner at her new place and go out on the town! Sunday I plan on doing NOTHING. Yay! Looking forward to this weekend!

1. What is your favorite thing to do on a cool fall day? Maybe talk a walk or open the windows to air everything out
2. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? A teacher
3. What is your favorite childhood dish a parent or grandparent made? (and who made it) my grandma always made the best cookies they were soft and fresh and oh so good, now many have tried to recreate them and many have failed
4. Do you enjoy soft serve ice cream or regular ice cream better? Favorite flavor? Soft serve usually a combo or vanilla and chocolate
5. Plans for the weekend? Saturday doing some major/much needed cleaning at home then watching the Cards game; Sunday going to church, then to a benefit for my cousin and visiting MIL for her birthday and hopefully getting home in time to watch the Cards game
1. What is your favorite thing to do on a cool fall day? I like tailgating in the fall when it is cool outside.
2. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? Marine Biologist
3. What is your favorite childhood dish a parent or grandparent made? (and who made it) My grandma used to make the BEST Mac N Cheese. Nothing will ever top it.
4. Do you enjoy soft serve ice cream or regular ice cream better? Favorite flavor? Regular hard ice cream. Preferable Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
5. Plans for the weekend? Going with my best friend to shop for her boyfriend for his birthday (I am on a strick spending freeze). Tomorrow night HOPEFULLY date night with DH. Sunday is crafting, football, and catching up on bad TV while DH is working.

Go for a walk and crunch in the leaves (like a little kid!)

When I was in kindergarten, I told my mom that I wanted to be a Radio City Rockette. Too bad I dropped out of dancing school...haha

My mom always made me the best lasagna for my birthday! And my grandma made the BEST homemade raviolis and biscotti. She never had recipes, so I have to try to recreate them...but no one has been able to get it just right.
4. Do you enjoy soft serve ice cream or regular ice cream better? Favorite flavor?
Usually soft serve, in a wafer cone, chocolate and vanilla swirl. The best homemade ice cream I've made so far was cinnamon, it tasted like a cinnabon!!!
5. Plans for the weekend?
Tonight, not much...Saturday, family birthday party, Sunday, shopping and hopefully meeting up with two old co-workers. One of them had a baby in June that I still have to meet!
1. What is your favorite thing to do on a cool fall day? Hit the cider mill, then come home and have a fire in the pit at dusk.
2. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? A lawyer like my daddy. Little did I know that was actually hard work!
3. What is your favorite childhood dish a parent or grandparent made? (and who made it) Probably my southern grandma's corn bread and her chicken & dumplings. Or maybe my Italian grandma's home made pasta or sugar cakes (she'd make them out of extra bread dough, smother them in sugar and fry 'em). I loved having 2 grandmothers of completely different origins. Made for great cookin'!!
4. Do you enjoy soft serve ice cream or regular ice cream better? Favorite flavor? I actually like soft serve but ice cream is ice cream!
Mint chocolate chip has always been the one to win me over.
5. Plans for the weekend? cider mill with Amanda & my friend Jill and her girls today then dinner with DH and hanging out/hot tubbing over my cousins'. Tomorrow football. Mom gets home from New Orleans tonight so we'll most likely have dinner over there tomorrow as well.
