Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

SMART Response
Anyone familiar with the SMART Response software? I am attempting to install the software and the receiver on my computer to use with my students, but I seem to be having no luck getting it to recognize that I plugged the receiver into the computer. I'd ask our tech support guy, but he actually teaches all day and I am leaving early today.
TIA for any help you can give me!

The computer is set to a different type of SMART Response. There are types that you can use with clickers and ones that a teacher would use in a computer lab or by mobile devices.
If you are using a windows computer, go to the Response icon in the Windows Notification area (in lower right of screen near your SMART Board Tools icon). Select the Setup Tool and then select the type of Response thatyou have, then ok
