Recommend a shoe for the rainy season
Ok, so, I'm stuck in a rut...I admit it. I wear these shoes all the time. I have them in 4 colors.
They're really comfortable. I can walk in them all day. However, as you can imagine, they're really not good at all when it's wet out. I have pumps, but they have a thin sole and end up getting wet when I walk across the parking lot.
So, what do you recommend? I'm looking for a shoe that is dressy enough for work, that I can be barefoot in, but that I can walk around the block in without feeling like I'm standing in a puddle. Bonus for PIP!
Re: Recommend a shoe for the rainy season
I just looked on Zappos trying to find something of a similar style, and here's what I've got:

These are hot! How do you feel about boots, especially ankle boots? I got a great pair at JCPenney's a while back that I've worn for years -- with pants, of course, doesn't work with skirts. And you'd have to wear socks with them.
Edit: maybe something like this? These fall under the comfort category. Oooh, so do these mary janes, but they're pretty open.
I like the pair you have. It's so hard to find comfy shoes. What brand are they?
Oh, and I own these
Which would be PERFECT
But they're not comfortable
Darn it! I have wide feet, so I know some of your pain. Let us know what you end up getting.
