What kind of skin do you have? Does the Help Me dry you out at all? Thanks.
I agree with everything that muddled said. You should listen to her. -ESDReturns
Re: **Morty**
My skin is combo (I don't have dry patches but normal w/slightly oily chin/forehead) and I've never had an issue with Help Me drying me out at all.
I've been using it for a few years. If you're afraid it might dry you out, you could try the On a clear Day retinol cream. It's a lower % of retinol with ingredients that soothe your skin. I used that before I started using Help Me. I'm not sure on the % of retinol in each one off hand. I had called Philosophy's customer service to ask the difference between the Help me and On a Clear Day and they told me Help Me had a higher percent of retinol.
on a clear day:

I can't remember how old you are, but if you're looking for a retinol product, these pads are good even though they are an anti-aging product. I really like how my skin feels and looks when I use these at night (they are pricey though and I've read reviews where people cut the pads in half to get more out of it. That's my plan with my next jar). These definitely won't dry you out. The texture of the product is like a dry oil, but not oily on your skin if that makes any sense! I use it on my neck and the top of my hands too (whatever is left on the pad after using it on my face):

With the Sephora sale going on right now you'd get 20% off. If you sign up on Philosophy's site and also like them on facebook, you'll get decent promos. One time I got a 40% off promo code (very dangerous!) and just a couple of weeks ago they had a one day 30% promo code for FB friends.
Thanks a lot for all the info. I might try the On a Clear Day instead of the Help Me (haven't checked out the pads yet), mostly due to the seasons. My skin tends to get pretty dry in the winter and more normal in the warmer months. I have to change most of my products over based on the weather. It kinda blows.
I am in no way against anti-aging products! I am in my mid-30s and have my fair share of fine lines.
Much appreciated. I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Do you have a good moisturizer? You could probably get away with the help me as long as you use a good moisturizer. I really don't think you'd have an issue with Help Me drying you out as long as you moisturize.
Help me has no where near the amount of retinol that Retin-A has. That stuff used to dry me out when I used it in my early 20's and I had really oily skin back then!
I'm partial because I figure if you're paying about the same price for the same amount of product, you might as use the one with the most retinol in it. That's the reason I switched from the On a Clear Day to Help Me. I think they have a trial sized kit that has a small tube of Help me in it, but if you're not into the line of Philosophy products it wouldn't be worth your money.
