I'm in charge of making walking tacos for a Halloween party next weekend for 22 people. I've got the meat and toppings covered, but want to know if anyone has an alternative to the bag of chips? I've only seen bulk packages of the snack-size chips in assorted flavors, not just Doritos/Fritos. Any ideas on how to serve walking tacos with the big, family-size bags of chips? Thought about using those treat bags that come with twist ties...not sure if they will melt. Any other cute serving ideas other than out of the chip bag?
Re: Walking taco alternative
Don't use the treat bags. They aren't sturdy enough and the heat factor. Have you checked a sam's club or costco for the chips? I swear I've seen them at Aldi too.
If that's still a no go I'd look at either using bowls or maybe even coffee cups for smaller portions.
I have never heard of walking taco! But I looked it up.
I love the paper tray idea but they definitely have bulk packs of plain single serve Frito bags at my warehouse store.

Went to a local grocery store and they had value packs of Doritos only as well as assorted which is exactly what I was looking for!
