Surprise Ladies Please Come In
I was wondering if any of you ladies know of a pumpkin patch closer to our side of town? TIA
Re: Surprise Ladies Please Come In
Thanks ladies! I think we are going to go sometime next weekend so we can take our little man to pick out his first pumpkin! I am really excited and that place looks super cute!
We were talking about going to Scheph Farms but since it is so close to halloween and every weekend seems to be filled with activities we thought we would try somewhere closer to home this year
Oooh,I didn't know about that one!
I will probably go next weekend to get a pumpkin since mine always wilt from the heat.

tomalchoff is nice! perfect for what you guys want to do and way more affordable
Awesome! Thanks for the advice Shannon, we will save if for when he can enjoy it more
FWIW, I didn't think Schneph was that expensive and it was fun. I would have went even if Will was younger. Kids under 2 get in free I think. We paid $12 each to get in and that includes the train ride, hayride and other things that you'd easily be able to do with a baby. He wouldnt be able to enjoy the more "carnival" type rides, but we didn't do those with Will and we absolutly got our moneys worth even with paying for him.. The food was decent priced as well IMO. I guess it's all in what everyone finds to be worth their money... I am super excited to go back next year...
*edited to add that the whole what everyone finds to be worth their money sounded bad haha.. more in that we're not huge fans of packing lunches so we plan to spend $ on meals and stuff when we go to these places so for what it cost, it wasnt bad to us.. lol
We just went to T-farms today since it's pretty close (we have to go back though since my camera decided to eat all of the pictures we took)
It is $8 to get in (you can get a $2 off coupon on their website) but the pumpkin patch is by the entrance, so we didn't even pay to go in. Just went and took pictures with all the pumpkins. That's all I wanted any way since Aria can't really enjoy all of the activities yet.
No you don't have to pay to get in to just get a pumpkin! We just went, took pictures, picked out pumpkins and paid for just the pumpkins. It was great since we didn't really want to do any of the other stuff.
A word of warning if you go to TF though - carry Zach from the parking lot. We took the stroller and the walk was far and through a muddy parking lot. By the time we got to the entrance the stroller wheels were CAKED with mud. I realize this isn't a big deal...but it sucked having to clean it off and it was hard to push through the gravel with all the mud.
Thank you for the advice Jaye! I am getting an ergo carrier this week so maybe we will just use that I can't WAIT to take Zach
