Northern California Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Do you expect a lot of kiddos to come to your place ?
Re: Trick or Treaters
if we turn on the lights, YES.
They were very respectful of lights off last year.
I might ask our neighbors too. We live on the end of a dead end street but there is a walking path through to the next street. We also live about half a mile from an elementary school so I'm sure there will be quite a bit of foot traffic but being that I'll be home alone I'm not sure I want to make it obvious that I'm here.

Last year I thought we would get tons and bought a crap load of candy. We got maybe 10? So weird. I guess we aren't in the hot zone for my area (there are some streets that give out 1000+ pieces of candy a night.. hard to compete).

We had about 30-40 last year. Not sure what to expect this year (since last year the Giant's World Series game was on during the trick-or-treating, and perhaps some kids didn't come out as a result).
We're loaded up with candy though, just in case!
we're never home for halloween as dd goes TrT w/ her cousins elsewhere. we do though leave candy out in a bowl we can live w/out.
