So I had this brilliant idea...

My mom and I were saying how we had no time between Christmas and now to make any crafts we have planned for gifts. We were joking about calling in sick, etc. I said that we should stay in on Black Friday and make it a craft day instead. That way we save money all around -- and share tools, etc. My mom thought it was a great idea -- especially since all the big tables will still be set up from Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm so excited! We are going to get beads and stuff for my little cousins to keep them busy -- but they will need to be in the other room because my main projects are gifts for them!

Fun! My family is also contemplating hosting a craft party the Saturday after Thanksgiving (I have to work Black Friday). I'm excited!

That sounds like such a fun day! After this week, I have either a half day or day off every Friday until Christmas - I'm hoping to use some of that time for crafts. I wish I could do it with a group, but everyone that would come is who I'm making stuff for, haha.

I'm going to make hair bow holders like these:

 

and some fancy hair bows of course! I've been working tonight trying to crochet flowers. I haven't crocheted in a LONG time.

I will also make some jewelry.

My mom is making pre-designed scrapbooks for some people. She designs the pages, they add pics. She's also making a few mini albums.

I wish I could!!! Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure I'll be battling the crowds with F, (hopefully) getting our Christmas shopping done. Thank you for the offer though I can't wait to see what you make!
