We have hardwood floors and noticed that our current area rug is digging in to them a bit. What kind of rug should I look for so it doesn't have the binding or gripper stuff on the back? Woven rugs? We'll just be moving the one we have over to the dining room where there's tile and then put down a new one. I just need a search term. Thanks!
Re: decor help
You will typically find rugs with binding or padding on the back. You may want to get a rug pad that will protect your rug and your floor.
Link It should also keep it from slipping.
Might have to look into it. do they link together somehow or am i going to have a puzzle to put together all the time?

I've had mine for a year and only replaced one sticker. Ours is in the kitchen and takes a fair amount of abuse and water. I don't have dogs - but the cat has been caught scratching her nails on it and I haven't had a problem.
My office floor is made of them of them. We use them a lot on jobs as well. I've never had an issue with them.
What is great about them is buy a few extra and if one gets ruined by a dog you can either pick it up and clean it or replace it. I have used them to create 'area rugs' when I use them. I've used the flat normal plush ones and then switched to a shag rug to create a rug under a living area. They are a great product. They are also a green product.
