Weekend Happies and Crappies
I forget who came up with this, but I liked it. Let's do it again! What were your happies and crappies of the weekend??
Happy - we got to relax yesterday and I went for a walk to enjoy the nice weather.
Crappy - the long ride to Long Island and back for a family party. But the party was fun, so only the ride was crappy...DH gets cranky when there is traffic!!

Happy: I did next to nothing yesterday and made a killer new chili recipe!
Crappy: I worked 8 hrs of OT on Saturday and I've been working 10 hr days since Wednesday, so yesterday was my only day off
After today, my schedule will go back to normal, yay!

April Nesties March siggy challenge: Next Vacation, Anguilla!!
Happies: DH was off this weekend!
We finally got some stuff done around the apartment that kept getting pushed off for like a month. Plus Saturday we never got dressed and/or left the apartment. It was glorious!
The benefit for my cousin yesterday had an incredibly awesome turnout.
Crappies: FIL has lost 2 aunts in the past week. Plus, the Cardinals lost last night.
I think George-Anne brought this from another board, it was a hit :-)
Happies: Got to see Brenna 3x this past week, including her bday/housewarming party Saturday! DH surprised me Sat am with a reservation at a nearby hotel so we didn't have to drive 2 hrs to get home Sat pm! We also spent Sun afternoon relaxing together and he was super snuggly :-)
Crappies: Traffic on the way to Brenna's kept us at a dead standstill for 25 min. My cookies didn't turn out as soft as I wanted so I may have to make another batch soon to fulfill my craving that I have now! (darn!) Oh and hangovers suck, but the snuggly relaxing/ napping helped yesterday!
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
Happies: The weather was absolute perfection and we went out on a friend's boat Saturday. It was so beautiful and fun. Our community had a party afterwards and it was really fun to get to know our neighbors better.
Crappies: All that fun on Saturday made me feel like absolutely sh!t yesterday. I don't think I moved off the couch until 4:00. Pathetic!
Happies: It looks like I will be over at the better tunnel for a while. DH got a lot done on our front yard this weekend. I got one of our really messy closets all organized this weekend, feels so good. And we were able to leave all of our windows open all weekend, which was so nice. Oh, and we got a brand new Roku, so we just may be able to drop cable.
Crappies: My lap top crapped out this weekend, and DH is dragging his feet to trouble call it. I have started doing some top level job hunting, and there is nothing around here for me, and DH loves his job. GT lost in football, they started the season so well, and are just falling apart.
Happy: a lot, it was a good weekend. my wedding went off without a hitch, we had fun at justin's parents house and i've been eating so much better!
crappy: the lack of sleep!
Happies: DH and I "came out" on Facebook, and it was so much fun to see everyone's comments! Also, I had a great day with my mom and sisters yesterday. My mom summoned me to South Jersey because she wanted to talk to my sisters and me about some problems she's having so we can help her. It turned into this whole heart-to-heart session with the four of us. At different times we all cried, and laughed, and then we went out for lunch. There's been so much tension and anxiety in our family with everything going on that it actually turned out to be a great thing.
Crappy: I struggled a bit with telling my dad about the baby, but couldn't do it. The thought of calling him made me sick to me stomach and I needed to send him a clear message so that I can get on with my life with or without him in it. I'm sure he knows by now (my uncle/his brother commented on my status), but I haven't heard from him. I did talk to my sister about the reasons why I deliberately did not tell him, since she is the only one that still talks to him.
Happy: My parents helped clean up our yard and it went super fast!
Crappy: I hardly sat down all day yesterday and then when I did, I crashed! I was in bed by 9!!

Happy: I got in a huge nap with Milo on Saturday...about 3 hours, I so TOTALLY needed it. Milo ate his first bit of solid food on Sunday (rice cereal) and liked it so much we gave him a second helping. DH caught it all on video and in still photos. And, my mom (Milo's mima) Skyped with us for the first time on Sunday, and that was cool.
Crappy: Milo has been battling a cough for a few weeks now, and last night he had a major coughing fit at about 5 am that scared me a bit. Seemed like he had inhaled some phlegm or something, and couldn't get it out. Eventually he dealt with it, but it was awful to watch him suffer. Took him to the doctor this morning and it looks like he'll need to stay on the nebulizer for another week, and might need another round of antibiotics if the cough isn't under control by Thursday. Ugh.

Sounds like you really made a good decision for yourself! At some point, you have to move on, and I know that you know this was the time to do it! Glad you got lots of good comments on your outing post! Props to you for being so strong on the entire matter!!!
Happies: Um, Nebraska won. Hung out with friends and hubby and got the entire house cleaned! I have found my anxiety levels about the pregnancy are super low whenever I am around Jeff, but when I am on my own I let my nerves get to me about it. Today has been busy at work, so that has helped...
Crappies: Lions lost. Boo.
Happy: Beautiful weather all weekend, mom made it home safely from New Orleans, and my cousins' hot tub was all kinds of awesome.
Crappy: Sunday's workout wasn't all that effective.
Happy: The weather is finally starting to feel like fall, and I am loving it!! The trees haven't changed colors yet but I can tell that it is right around the corner!!
Crappy: DH has been out of town since Friday and I am ready for him to be home!! He doesn't go away very often and I am so thankful for that!!
Happies: great weekend filled with family & friends. When to Nelson's cousin's party for her 1 year old. So cute & fun! On Sunday I went t a Thirty-one party (it's like a tupperware type party but with purses & organizing stuff)
Crappies: Woke up Monday morning feeling like crap & had to stay home from work. I think that I had s a 24 hour bug of some sort. Yuck!
