My department is having a cookie swap party thing at the beginning of December. I'm not a huge baker, but the competitive part of me cannot be contained and I just want my cookies to be the fuuking best ones there.
Do you have any solid recipes that always go over really well?

I love oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. My mom made them when I was a kid and they make me smile. She would drizzle the top of them with milk and white chocolate to make them fancy.
I also like peanut butter cookies stuffed with mini peanut butter cups (instead of kisses).
These are just chocolate cookies with the mint M&Ms. It's festive and basic.
I forgot about these! OMG they're so freaking amazing...
