Thoughts on college football season thus far?

I feel like last weekend was the first real weekend of shake-ups in the polls. Now that we're several weeks into the season [and closer to bowl season than the beginning of the season], what are your thoughts? Surprise teams that are good? Surprise teams that suck worse than anticipated? BCS getting it right or getting it wrong?

I did not see K State doing as well as they have been. 

I'm surprised the BCS has us ahead of Wisconsin. 

LSU-Alabama next week is going to be interesting.  Okie State and K State play that weekend, too, so that will be a good football weekend!

SEC is owning the BCS, as per usual.

Can't wait for the LSU-'Bama showdown next week!  Should be a classic.

K-State is surprised K-State is doing well lol.

Honestly, though, all the K-State hate on ESPN is grating on my nerves. Losing to OU and OSU is entirely likely but to Texas? Texas A&M? Those games are completely winnable. But the underdog role is one that Snyder REALLY plays up well. So the media can keep doubting, I guess.

Would have been nice of OU could have pulled out the W this weekend so that we would have had a shot at GameDay in Manhattan, but that's okay. Here's hoping it's 8-0 this time next week.

K-State has been a nice surprise this year. It'll be interesting to see how this weekend's match-up goes...part of me thinks OU will be out for blood, but it's not like K-State is going into that match-up without putting up a fight. I wish the game wasn't the same time as the OSU/Baylor game...I'll just have to keep up with the score on my phone.

Oklahoma State has been a nice surprise. I'm so used to us being the underdog that to see us play well - and to see our defense actually play well, too - is surprising. I'm still very much holding my breath, but our guys look solid right now. The fact that we're No. 3 in the BCS is shocking, to say the least.

I thought Texas and West Virginia would be better. Still plenty of season left to see where they wind up though. Wisconsin's been awesome, except for that little hiccup last week - I still think they're a really good team.

I'm EXTREMELY surprised at K-State. I'm actually nervous about our game with them.

Also surprised at Oklahoma State, but not as much. I'm glad that OSU is doing well, makes me feel better about our loss. OSU did well a couple of years ago, I know they have (or can recruit) the talent and coaching to do very well.

NOT AT ALL surprised about Texas. they lost a lot of players and Mack Brown fired every person on his staff. that's not just an Aggie talking, even Longhorns that I work with all say the same thing.

I am also surprised that Auburn isn't doing as well as I think they should. I thought they would have a better record and ranking by this point.

 

and personally, I'm effing tickled at our season. OSU and Arky were very difficult games to watch but overall I'm loving this football season for the Ags.

 

I have to admit I'm not following much football outside of Big 12 and SEC. work is keeping me way too busy.

Pooh... I'm guessing you are not tickled anymore at our season. This week was down right pathetic. And I am very worried for the rest of our season.
