Weekend update with Seth Myers, the nestie edition

So what did you all do this past weekend? Anything fun?

Re: Weekend update with Seth Myers, the nestie edition

  • We vegged out Friday night. Saturday I had a habitat interview in a town a half an hour away and had a lovely little solo excursion after, visited this farm-type store, then checked out a salvage shop. Totally scored at the salvage place: got a mannequin (dress form technically, I think) that is exactly my size for a decent price, a little chandelier for over my desk and a shutter I plan to make into something to hold mail.

Dinner with friends Saturday and then we completely rocked doing house and yard work on Sunday. Good weekend.

  • I slept in until Q decided he wanted his Mama and came and got me.  Then I slept on the couch as much as I could.  Ray went to the Stanford game on Sat night.  Sunday was more of the same...me trying to rest.  Q wanting mama (and not understanding why I wouldn't talk to him) After his nap, we went to Target.
  • We spent it in the Bay Area. We got to SR on Friday evening and ordered in Chinese food with MIL and BIL for dinner. Sat. I had brunch with my MOH and her youngest (the ginger), in the afternoon we planned DH's cousin's 30th surprise which included dinner. We had about 15 ppl (family and friends of hers) and had chili (her request). Sun I went to the GTG in Danville for brunch and then we had a belated birthday dinner for me that evening with just DH's immediate family. We came home today.
  • We had a great weekend in Boston. Spent a really great saturday with MIL, pre race Saturday night with friends and their 8 month old daughter, who I am head over heels in love with. T and I split a half marathon on Sunday and it went really well. The weather was sunny, crisp and I was able to check out some of the fall foliage during the race. All in all, a fantastic weekend.
