i feel like the roof of my mouth gets raw when there are nuts in my mouth. i'll eat the shiit out of some nuts outside of baked goods but there is something about nuts in stuff that tears my mouth up.

personally, I feel like nuts just ruin it for me almost all the time.  My only exception would be macadamia nuts, I love those with white chocolate chips in cookies - but I think it's because they are so buttery.  In general, I like nuts though.

Me, too.

I like some nuts in some baked goods.  Brownies, IMO, should never have nuts, or frosting.  Blech.  Chocolate chip cookies can have walnuts, but there shouldn't be a lot of them, and it only works with "heartier" ones (i.e., w/whole wheat).  Oatmeal cookies can also have walnuts (in combination with either raisins or chocolate chips).  Quick breads are a great baked with nuts, walnuts, especially.

Salads are the best place for nuts.  Though nut sauce is good pretty much anywhere
