We are quickly approaching Halloween and I thought to get in the spirit. Does anyone have any spooky stories to share?
Re: Scary story time
Read these...scary!

This is something I remember when I was little, not really scary, but goes along w/the Halloween theme.
I was in Girl Scouts & we went to the cemetary for a scavenger hunt. The only thing we had to look for was a grave marker that had blood on it. So we go all looking around for blood on a headstone, but come up empty. We get back & tell our leader that we didn't see blood on anything, but we did find a marker w/the last name "Blood". The leader told us, "Congrats, you found it!" We were so set on finding actual blood, that it never dawned on us when we saw the last name Blood, if that was what they were looking for. I still remember that if I'm back in my hometown & we drive by the road to that cemetary.
OMG these are SO creepy!
I don't really have any scary stories of my own, but I'm pretty much scared by any scary story - like even Halloween specials! I'm such a chicken...
So creepy! I can only imagine what nurses see.
This is going to be long.
I lived in a haunted house in East Lansing.
My parents bought the house for me and my two roommated to live in. We did a lot of renovations to it while we were there. I had a ton of random things happen to me that always creeped me out. I would talk on my cell in my room on my bed and my phone would cut out and then my bed would just start shaking. It was like someone was standing at the headboard, literally shaking the bed as hard as they could. This happened twice.
I was outside with my dog and glanced up at the kitchen window and the blinds pulled up. Not just opened but literally pulled up. I was the only one home and no one else was inside. Scared the *** out of me and i ran in to grab my keys, scooped up my puppy and drove to my boyfriends house for the night.
I was getting ready for work one morning, brushing my teeth. It was quiet in the house and my roommates were still sleeping. As I'm standing there, I clearly hear a little girl say, "please help me!". It sounded like it was coming through the vent from the basement. I promptly left for work and left my poor roommates to fend for themselves.
I was in the living room watching TV and I watched a white mist float down the stairs, through the living room, and into the kitchen. There were a counter top bar type thing in between the living room and the kitchen. My cat was laying on that counter and she clearly watched the same white mist move from the exact same spot and to the same spot that I was seeing it.
I would randomly hear an old man grumbling followed by the girl saying help me.
I was walking up the basement stairs after doing laundry, heard the grumbling and something literally grabbed my leg and tried to pull me back down the stairs. Another time I took the dog and ran for my life.
As one of the workers was in the basement painting, he heard a voice over his shoulder whisper, "get out!". He was the only one in the house as my roommates and I were at class and his coworkers were grabbing lunch. He promptly left with his paintbrush still in the can. Although I had had a ton of abnormal experiences at this point, we had never mentioned any of them to the workers.
Now, I never believed in hauntings until I lived in that house. From the moment I moved in, I always felt incredibly uneasy in that house. Kind of like someone was constantly watching me. I had never felt that way in a house before I lived there, and I have never felt that way since I have lived there. I am a firm believer in hauntings now. You just don't know until you experience it for yourself.
Totally agree Sassy, that is so creepy Higgy. I don't think I would have been able to live in that house, but I am a total wimp when it comes to scary things. I HATE watching scary movies.
Did you sell the house? I am sure if you did some research you would learn some interesting things about that house.
Higgy, you scared me.....
Now that is freaky!!
