So... I know it's early, but anyone heard of anything fabulous going on for New Year's yet? DH and I always talk about going out and it never happens and we always end up home alone watching *** Clark. What clubs/bars have you all heard about/been to in recent years that host wonderful NYE bashes?! Thanks in advance!

Re: New Year's Eve
I'm of no help. We go to friend's houses. I'd much rather spend time with them, or be at home with my husband. I did the NYE club when I was 21 and 22. Since then, it's been either dinner out for the two of us, dinner at home or hitting a few different parties in the neighborhood. I'd much rather walk home on NYE--too many crazies on the road.
Last year I was in labor.
This year I am in a wedding.
Sometimes I think I'd rather be in labor instead.
I hate holiday weddings.
That sucks.
Doesn't Proud to Plan put together/promote/work/etc. a NYE party down town? I think they did it for the last 2 or 3 years. I feel like it was at the Crystal Tea room??? I could be making that up though. I can't remember.
Last year we had my cousin's NYE wedding at the Hotel duPont and for once, it was actually nice to have something to do on NYE. I've never been out for NYE in my life and so going out last year was fun and gave us something to do.
We haven't been out on NYE in about 5 years. So we are actually doing something this year - we are dumping the kiddos with MIL, getting a hotel room in the city and having a nice dinner and drinks.
I am not sure where we are going yet, but I am looking forward to dressing up and going out with mr. eagles

It will be fun. It's my bro's wedding and I'm so happy for him. I just hate holiday weddings. Hate.
