So there's this part of me (a very teeny tiny itsy bitsy part of me) that can't shake the idea that I CAN run a marathon. You have seriously been an inspiration to just.keep.running, and am getting ready to sign up for my 2nd 1/2 in the spring.
My question... how did you start training for the full marathon? Jason said the only way he would even let me truly consider something like this is if I consulted someone about a training program. My body took a huge beating during the last 1/2 training (thank you gymnastics) and he's worried how I'd hold up over another 13 miles.
Also, random side question... do you get really cold after you run? I mean REALLY cold. I went for a run today and couldn't stop shivering afterword. I had a similar, and more severe "reaction" to the running after the 1/2. Any ideas what might cause this?
