Last night we attended Thrillville at the local speakeasy. The movie was the Wolfman meets Frankenstien's Monster (or something like that). The MC gets on stage and starts talking about how the election is important and we should pay close attention to this debate. He says:
One candidate is offering moldy, old ideas, stitched together and repackaged like they're new. The other candidate is offering change that happens right before your eyes, but probably not the kind you want.
The movie ends with the werewolf and the monster are drowned when the pitchfork wielding townspeople blow up the dam. The MC says:
That's how all debates should end. When you've resorted to attacking the other candidate, you should just blow the dam and start all over again.
Who knew old horror movies were so politically motivated?
