Forced enthusiasm.
Long meeting this afternoon on top of my already extremely busy day/week.
Had a really good massage last night and then had a good evening at home with G. We talked a lot about important things like our futures, and we didn't get heated, but really had a good discussion and I feel better, and I hope G does too. He has been so upset and stressed and miserable. The poor guy, I just want him to be happy again. And then we had fun just talking and joking. I love when our night ends with us in giggles. All in all a very good night.
In other news, in less than 2 weeks I am meeting Misty and I could not be more pleased about it. YEEHAW!

My day was the same always yesterday. Work. Sleep. Eat. Sleep.
I am not really looking forward to baking class tonight, just because I know I'll be super tired. If I knew I was gonna get KU, I wouldn't have taken the class.
I told a few people at work (and FB) and I had a REALLY good conversation with one of my work friends and she's probably the only person IRL who totally gets what's going on in my head right now.
And I'm totally lateish for work right now, but I don't care. I'm only late in my own head; I just need to be at work by 9:30.

Meeting + Webinar + Phone Interview + AF = I Hate Wednesday. On the bright side I get to cancel my GYN appt for tomorrow. But, I also have to come into the office tomorrow for two meetings in the afternoon and OMG my MIL will be watching Baby Q.
Off to get my coffee. Maybe then I'll feel better.
Snow + new commute + pitch black outside + up at 5am + dumb asss drivers = PITA morning.
However, starbucks + breakfast sammich + week almost over + gym tonight + heat on in the office = Hells yeah!
And Shauni, I cannot WAIT!!!!!!!
We finally sold my old car. Yippee!!! That money is coming at a GREAT time! My confession I cried all the way after Greg told me. I haven't driven the car in like a year and a half when it broke down. I have had my new car since March. My Carbio, was my first car I bought and picked out (My 1st 2 cars where given to me by relatives) My Cabrio was my affordable dream car. It was also my first and probably last car that was all mine. Yes my car now is mine but I picked it out with Greg both our names are on the eveything. Ect. As I was crying on my way home and laughing that I was crying, I was thinking I can't even blame this on pregnancy hormones because I'm sure I would have cried even if I wasn't/
I also, went through all the baby stuff we got/have. I realize we still need a lot of clothes basics. So I will be shopping with said car money this weekend.
YAY for a good night with Mr. G and impending Misty meetup.
SusieQ-maybe MIL will get out of your ass on the weekend if she watches baby for a few hours tomorrow? Hopefully??

Good morning.
I have 8 tons of snot in my nose right now. WTF cold. It's been a week and a half now. I've had enough.
Last night I went home, picked up a bit, changed, packed lunch, ate, worked on my Halloween costume, watched Gossip Girl on DVR, walked the dogs, broke out in hives again, and fell out around 10:30.
I wish today was Friday.
Ugh, I have been hearing tons about this cold season--everyone I know seems to have a horrible cold, turning into a sinus infection, and lasting forever! I hope you feel better soon. And may I use this as a reminder to keep up my Vitamin C!
Also, I am sure you posted this earlier and I missed it (I suck at life) but what are you being for Halloween this year?!

I still can't believe that Misty has to deal with snow right now. I went home and told J about it and he was super jealous. He got a new (well, new to us) snow mobile this summer and is dying to ride it.
Last night we had our birth/parenting class. We're past the labor part and onto the first couple weeks. We watched some videos about bathing baby and things like that. Made me more excited. I just want the baby here already!! However, the nurse instructor kept saying, "Oh this video is old, so we don't recommend that anymore" about various methods/techniques. Um, how about instead of telling us all the things the video is showing that is wrong, you guys splurged and pay $20 for an updated video?!?!?
J is going to a friends house right after work tonight and tomorrow to work on their side business. Good news is, I don't have to worry about cooking dinner. Bad news is, we won't really have any time to hang out until friday night which is always lame b/c we're both so tired from the week.
I think til Dec 14. And I don't have a class on Thanksgiving week. It sucks because part of me is like "whatever, you don't care about the grade just skip!" and another part of me is like "You put out a fair chunk of change for this. And you get to bake (and eat) cherry pie tonight! C'mon. CHERRY PIE! This is the class you'll figure out why you suck at making pie crust!"

Stephanie, it sounds like you had a busy night!
I am headed to the final dress fitting for my friend whose wedding I am MOH in. I am pumped for her, but would have liked a little more notice than 11pm last night. I feel like having my own wedding has given me a new perspective on weddings where I realize how little all the fine details matter. The difficult thing though is I can't tell her that because I feel it may be rude, I don't know if I would have taken it well had someone told me the details don't matter too much.
Nic and I are best man and matron of honour though, which will be a lot of fun - and a lot of money!
Last night family who are missionaries in Ethiopia came to my in-laws to visit and meet Hailey. It was great to see them, but I am getting somewhat tired of showing her off. It just seems to be the same conversations over and over. I guess I should be thankful though we have so many people in our lives who support us and are excited for us.

Oh Megan, last night was not a busy night for me. That was a super low key night. hahaha. My BFF who was my MOH is in another wedding and is putting up with a ton of crap from the bride, who is also a friend of mine. I am glad to be just an attendee at that wedding!

Today is my friday, be jealous. I merely have to get through two train rides and two classes and I will be DONE for the week.
In other news, one of my friends called me yesterday to tell me that MA has sent out the bar results
now, I knew that RI was releasing theirs on Friday so for a MONTH I have been all set to receive said news on FRIDAY. Now she tells me I should be freaking out a full 2 days earlier. Not Cool. So RI and MA results will be out tomorrow (MA) and Friday (RI). Please let me have passed.

Xtine - crying over a car is something I would do, every time we trade in one of our cars I feel bad, like it's a puppy I've just left at a shelter and she is sitting there saying "why are you leaving me mommy? I'll be better I swear!" It's pathetic I know.
Mary-the snow can suck it. It's still coming down, we have a winter storm warning in the metro area and the commute home will kick my asss as well

Last night was uneventful but still good. I got in a really good workout (in my fabulous new clothes from ON, hehe), made dinner, ran to the grocery store for a TON of stuff we somehow didn't pick up this weekend, and snuggled.
Ugh I had some pictures to share but for some reason they are posting huge even after I resize. Eff it.No it's totally ok!! Squeeeeeeeee!
Okay, hopefully this will work this time. This is the microwave in my lunchroom, which is funny because it stays remarkably clean so I don't see the need for the notes.
The first sign is wearing off, it said Please cover your food in microwave. The new ones just appeared sometime yesterday or this morning, and I have no idea what a Bunyip is.

Well hello again. I have been so busy that I haven't even been lurking for the past week. I have been getting called for a lot of sub jobs + skating started + still working my usual hours at the restaurant = great money + never home + no sleep + getting sick, again.
The only thing on my schedule today is volleyball tonight. I should visit my parents and stop by the ILs (so they don't come here). I also really want to go shopping for a new pair of running shoes since mine have completely wore out in the last week.
Today: slept in + coffee + still in pjs + lazy day + Sephora delivery + volleyball + lasagna and garlic bread - AF = pretty darn good day.

Yay on car $$ Xtine, I felt that way about 2 weeks ago when we sold my car. We needed it to go, it was such a relief, but it made me a little sad too.
QofA it's gotta get better eventually with the tiredness and stuff. Remember you took the class for fun! At least I think it would be fun!

I'm a total slacker today at work. The boss is out...for the next 3 weeks and I'm already taking advantage of it. This could get bad.
Morning! Had dinner last night with my male BFF/coworker and another local attorney. It's always nice to hang out. Had the yummiest burger with (pasteurized, yay!) bleu cheese and bacon, and OMG the best beer-battered fries. Nom nom. I was so full on my drive home that I had to recline my seat, lol.
Can't believe Brew has snow already! And I think a Denver GTG sounds pretty awesome, we should all do that! H's uncle and cousins live there, and have invited us back.
Megan, you are nice to be MOH in a wedding so soon after giving birth! I'm scared for what I'll look like! I've got a Belly Bandit on order, so hopefully that helps. The girls on my BMB are starting to have their babies and are posting pics several days later while using the Belly Bandit, and it does seem to be helping.
Xtine, congrats on selling the car! When I got my current car I didn't trade in my old one, and was so glad when I finally sold it a few months later. What a relief to get rid of it! What kind of baby basics do you need? We got too many of a few things, like hooded towels, that I'd love to share!
