:( Was anyone else sad . . .

. . . that they had to drive into work while it was still semi dark out?

I know I was!

Re: :( Was anyone else sad . . .

  • I hate this time of year because of that, I drive to work in the dark and 90% of the time it is dark when I am driving home, it's like I miss the whole day because of work. If only I was rich:)

Tru Dat.  Especially the bold part.  :o)

  • Yes!  And then I get to work and can't do any of my watering because I can't see inside the greenhouses or outside!  UGH!

Yep, this is about that time when DH and I start to dream about what we can do if we won the lottery . . .the catch is that one of us has to start playing it!

  • Even though I stay at home, I was bummed the other day when I got up to use the bathroom & thought "hey, it's still dark out, I have a few hours left of sleep", only to find out it was 7:30 already!  Sad

I don't like it darker earlier either, since w/DH gone, it's just the kids & I for dinner, and I liked looking out at our commons area watching the people play or walk, but pretty soon it'll be too dark to see anything.

  • No driving in the dark for me, but I will say that I was sad that by the time I actually got to fall asleep "last night" it was starting to get light out. IndifferentNo

  • I didn't even notice, but I didn't leave the house until 9 so maybe it was light out by then!

No joke! Actually, my initial statement was a bit dramatic, but I was up with Lily until 3am, and then I fell asleep but she kept waking me up making little grunts and whines.  "Woke up" again at 6:30 to feed her and then she wouldn't go back to sleep.  Emma then woke up at 8:30 and it was game over.

Still sounds terrible, those 3am days seem so long ago! I get annoyed (maybe that is not the best word) when Morgan won't go to bed at her normal time which is 8pm.  I hope you get a little rest today, or at least some sleep tonight!

  • Eh, I have to be to work t 6am most days.  It's always dark when I drive into work regardless of time of year.

  • YES!  And I have been leaving in the dark too so I don't get to be outside in the daylight at all!  That can't be good for you... :/
