Question for you all
My grandmother has a Mink coat and she wants to sell it, due to not having a need for it. Where we live in South FL we really dont have a need for it. Im clueless on how to go about selling it. Its in great shape. I have looked at putting it on craiglist and ebay, but I have no idea how much she should sell it for. Anyone have any ideas how much a used one runs?

Im not sure on the brand, but it is full length. She got it while she was working which would make it at least 20 yrs old, but it is in great shape.

A lot of the value depends on the thickness of the pelts and whether they are full pelts or pieces. Is the lining original and in good shape? Those are the things buyers will look for...
Thanks girls. I will have to look at some consignment shops and see what they say.
I may watch too much Pawn Stars/Auction Hunters type programming, but you may want to take it to a pawn shop. I wouldn't pawn it, but they could be a great resource in putting you in touch with someone who could give you a better estimate of the coat's value. I think some of those places will sell things on consignment, too, but I have never actually pawned anything, this is all information I've gathered from watching too much tv
