This might be long but please offer ANY suggestions.
DH, DS and I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. The closet in mine and dh's bedroom is TINY! He has a ton of suits and I do as well. We both have to dress up for work so, that leads to bulky clothes.
In our bedroom (and a few other rooms) are "platforms" below the window. They are areas that are two or three steps higher than the rest of the room. I was thinking about turning the one in our bedroom in to a dressing area for myself while DH continues to use the closet.
Any suggestions on the best closet organizer system that I could put against one wall and block off with a dressing screen. The dimensions would be about 55.5" wide, 6 ft. tall and 33.5" deep.
Thank you SO much for your help!
Re: Clothes organization help
Ikea. Seriously. You can put together a closet system of just about any size you need. Take full measurements... width, depth and height too. You can put one together that goes all the way up to the ceiling so you don't waste any vertical space.
Depending on where you are in PA, there are Ikeas in Pittsburgh, Philly, Conshohocken (near King of Prussia), Baltimore MD and College Park MD. I'm near Harrisburg PA and we've been to all of them, except the Philly one.

Definitely go to a store. Their website does kinda suck.
The stores have everything all put together and set up like a room in a house.
Plus, there's Swedish meatballs and chocolate bars in the cafeteria.
