My H and I are about to switch to AT&T for our cell service. I'm 100% sure I'm getting and iPhone just not sure which one. I would love to save $100 getting the 4 or should you just go ahead and get the 4s. Is it that much greater that the 4?
Not to mention I'm not sure if I'm gettting the black or white. Any opinions?
Re: iPhone 4 vs iPhone 4s
I just went from the 4 to the 4s because the buttons on my 4 weren't working all the time and I was due for an upgrade. Also went from black 4 to white 4s.
I love the white, easier to find in a dark room too
The 4s is definitely faster than the 4, Siri is pretty cool when I remember to use it, and the camera is really great (8mp vs. 5)... but I don't think it's worth an extra $100. The iPhone 4 is pretty great itself, and the new software iOS 5 is where most of the new features are. They both have the same body, same retina display screen (so pretty) and same apps.
This. Dh took my 4 so he could do the myfi thing and get rid of his aircard and I got the 4s. Honestly, if we didn't have an upgrade available we would have just gotten another 4.

I have the 4, and my sister has the 4s, and I don't see anything on hers that makes me wish I had waited to get mine. I was going from a BB to an iPhone, so the joy of getting rid of the BB more than made up for anything she has on her phone. And by the time I am up for a new one, there will be a real upgrade, so there's that.
I got the white one. It's beautiful.

It's pretty much the same other than the faster software, Siri, and cam but it's really not worth the extra $100. Either way, with an iPhone, you're good to go.
I have the white and I love it.

Ditto the others about the differences.
I like Siri though so I'd pay the extra $100 if you have it to spend.
