That was the first thing one of my team members suggested. Not sure I really want/need a Kindle though. I usually take books out from the library and, frankly, don't read as much as I used to (too many other hobbies).
I just realized that this is a very timely birthday gift from my company too as today is my bday!

No cookbooks, I prefer getting recipes online with the reviews that go along with them.
I so do not need any more knitting stuff right now. I unfortunately just bought a ball winder and yarn swift (but got a great deal on them), already have interchangeable circs, and I am banning myself from buying more yarn until I work through more of my existing stash!

option b - get dd all of the melissa/doug play food sets i have lurking on that list

It's been a little while since I've made any amigurumi, but there are so many cute free patterns out there I have a hard time paying for them.
I'm in no rush to spend it so waiting for holiday sales is a good call.
