vitamins

What kind of vitamins do you take? To clarify, we aren't TTC and don't plan to for at least a year, so I don't necessarily need anything prenatal.

Also, vitamins tend to make me very nauseous, even with food. The one that I take right now, I have been cutting in half and taking half after breakfast and the other half after dinner.

Thanks!

Re: vitamins

  • Target makes adult gummy vitamins. They're amazing.

I feel like a 5 year old taking them, but they're awesome.

  • I have always taken the Target brand vitamins, both the prenatals and the women's one a day type. I never had any problems with either, but I did always take them with food. I've heard great things about the gummy ones though! Right now I take Nature Made prenatal with DHA, but we are TTC and I've been taking a prenatal for years anyway, I usually switched off between the prenatal or one a day for the last few years.

  • Flintstones chewables.  No joke.

  • I know you aren't TTC but a lot of girls on the bump who felt sick from prenatals found the gummy ones much better. Taking a prenatal won't hurt even if you aren't TTC. Still has everything you need.

  • I take the One A Day vitamins. The Women's One A Day made me sick to my stomach, so I switched to the regular ones that are easy to swallow (aka much smaller). Now I take them with dinner and I haven't had any issues with being sick from them.

  • I take pre-natals as well. But - 1 a day is launching new adult chewables - the adds are all over TV. They have Omega 3 in them as well - I"d reccomend those..... Anything with Omega 3 is a huge bonus!
