Follow up after online resume submission
I saw that a few of these have been asked, but I have a few different questions. I applied for a job on the 20th and immediately got the automated "thank you for your resume" email. It said in the email that no phone calls will be accepted to check on the application status. In the job listing there is a generic "careers" email listed incase you have trouble with their online system.
Should I send a follow up email to that address? What would I say? I know they received my resume, but is it still a good idea to check in and reiterate my interest in the job?
