Here are some links to fabric I've just ordered to see how they might work in the bedroom. I also make purses and kindle covers, so if they don't work in the room, I'll use them for those projects. I am addicted to fabric and ordered yards instead of just samples LOL. I've added some others that I've liked but not yet seen.
Here are some of the fabrics I love and might use. I'll put notes next to each of them whether I have actually seen them in person or not. The photos are clicky to the sites.
This one is being shipped to me, so I don't have it yet. The diamonds are the design I am using for a quilt for the trundle bed in that room (different gray/white fabric for that) and thought it would look nice, depending on the colors. I am hoping the background is white and not creamy like in the photo.
Here is a Joel Dewberry that I LOVE. I had to order this on Etsy since I can't find it in this color way anywhere else. Love this entire collection and I will post more of it below. I only have a yard, so no curtains, but something else for this fabric.

I found this at Denver Fabrics and took a sample of the yellow and the brindle (middle). Then I saw it for much less money on fabric.com. It is home dec fabric, so it is not as soft, but would be perfect for drapes. The yellow was brighter than the paint color I have so I will be using either the brindle or the gray. You might recognize the yellow if you watch Project Runway... it is the headboards in the girls' rooms.
Here is some chevron. Fabric.com also has yellow/white, yellow/gray, and a lighter gray/white. Click on the photo and all other colors should be on the same page as suggestions. I haven't seen this fabric in person yet, but some is on the way.
This also comes in different gray/white that I've found on Etsy. Kind of goes with the "menswear" style my room seems to have.

This is more from the Joel Dewberry Aviary2 Collection. I can't find this anywhere (in this color way) but I have a laptop bag made from it.

More Joel Dewberry. I have this fabric but in other colors I used in another project.

Summary of Joel Dewberry. Hmmmm, I think this is my addiction!
This is Amy Butler's Martini (I have this as the inside of my laptop bag... not a perfect match to the other fabric, but nice enough together)

Michael Miller. I don't have this exact fabric but I do like the quality of other fabrics I do have. Not sure about the exact shade of yellow. Click on the photo/link and you can see MANY other Michael Miller yellows and grays in modern patterns. Lots of dots, stripes, damask, bicycles, etc.
As you can see, I've been searching for a lot of yellow and gray fabrics. I love them all and want them all, but it is hard to choose. Hope this helps you!
Re: ** Jehawley **
This is AWESOME! Thank you!
I love love love the Michael Miller and Joel Dewberry stuff - it's exactly what I'm looking for!
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
I will, but it might be a while still - baby isn't due until February
No problem. I am not even pregnant yet, so I don't need inspiration right away. Eventually seeing pictures would be very helpful since it seems like we have the same style.
