Re: Thursday Truths
I've offically been dubbed a "trainwreck" by RE
Imma be shootin' confetti and fairy dust up everyone's arses to celebrate!
I'm dubbing myself a trainwreck right now. Le sigh....
I picked a fight with BF last night because I was miserable and I didn't know what to do. Stupid!

Mint - just to let you know: I have found you to be one of the most inspirational women I have come across. Trainwreck my a$$, more like Orient-Express (the train that isn't about getting from point A to B but getting there with style & class)
First, I'm in a GREAT mood. Don't know what happened, but I'm finally out of my "funk" I've been in for the last several weeks and it feels amazing!
For my truth, there is a friend of mine, known him for going on 2 years and I'm completely into him. From discussions we've had, he's into me too. I know we are both being very cautious due to us both going through a divorce around the same time. But, I REALLY wish he would just make a move already. And of course, we went to dinner last night so my mind is still thinking about it...
This was me about a year ago! I finally had to make the first move
Thanks, I appreciate those kind words. Truth be told, I could take some of my own advice though. I'm getting there, one day at a time
No you don't.
My XH moved in with me mostly out of convenience because the owner of the house he was renting in was foreclosed on, so he had to move.
It was the beginning of the end for us.
I have said this before and I will stand by it: Don't move in with a partner out of convenience. Move in with purpose, and only after having an adult discussion about it.

(I like you pbear, so please don't take this the wrong way.)
I do this when I have to poop.
You pick fights when you have to poop? Damnn, you must get into a lot of fights or be really constipated.

Yeah, it's when I need to go but the poop isn't forthcoming. It makes me really ill-tempered.
My truth:
I am looking for another job because my current job doesn't pay enough and it is not challenging for me anymore (hence why I am on here so much)....
BUT part of me is scared to have a more challenging job with less flexible hours. I keep thinking about missing time with my kid or being more stressed out, but in the end I need the money and I need to push myself.
Bah! The RE board....pure entertainment. Again I find it amusing that they find SO amusing.
Mint, click on this link and you find all you need to know about the RE board. A woman asks for advice on potential issues in her marriage...there are 9 replies...and maybe 3 of them actually answer her question. The other 6 involve making fun of her grammar, snarky comments, etc.

FWIW as the b*tchy non SO lurker you seem very level headed and non train wrecky to me.
Yes, I'm sure that 9 responses of "if it's not working and you want out, then leave" would make that board so much better to read.
No you're right. I don't have to. It IS the most convenient and makes the most sense at this point.
I don't know, I'm just scared and today is definitely "I can't see how this is going to work" days
Ha! Typical. Being a snarky biatch is a better approach than answering her question or not answering at all. I think you just made my point for me Kuus. Thank you...I guess.
She got three answers, and they were all pretty much the same. I'm not sure what your point is, except that you like repetition, perhaps.
Thought my point was fairly clear...but oh well.
I read the whole thing. It looks like Haines and I are in the same category too.
I have had this problem lately too. Once we started doing it, we were doing it a lot, but now it has dropped to 2-3 times a week....I want more! :-(
Trainwreck party! Does P have some Thomas stuff we can decorate with? :P
Part of me wants to reply to posts like that and ask why but then the other part figures, meh, let them think/judge as they like. It does seem to make them feel better about themselves!
I don't think my life is interesting enough to fall into the trainwreck category. All I do is study at Starbucks and go to bed at 8:30 every night.
I'm kinda in love with Melinda right now after reading that RE post.
I saw where you were going with that. Heh.
link please?
I saw that. She ruffled a few feathers with that one!
