I guess this is a fake ad about the digitial video transition from some talk show.
Coming from a place where 1) everyone has new technology and 2) there's too many mountains to get an analog signal anyways, it's humorous to think of people with TVs running on steam trying to figure out this newfangled stuff.
But I have relatives in MN who are not twits and who get their TV over the air. All the broadcast stuff comes in just fine. Whether or not broadcast TV is a necessity is debateable, but I do think young, educated people underestimate the difficulty a large portion of the country has with technology. We sell a tech product that is really very, very simple - nearly as simple as a digital converter - and the questions I get all day every day astound me. I think this clip is funny because it's true.
