I'm giving a last minute presentation on green living in class tonight. I really don't know enough about green living to inform other people on it even though I've been applying "green ways" to my life (reusable shopping bags, light bulbs, reusable water bottles, etc). I've found a couple of YouTube videos that I'm going to show and I've found one blog that I think I like to use as a reference. Do you girls have any websites that you like or whatever? Or, any other suggestions?

Re: Green Living Girls
No suggestions, but I did read this the other day that was really fascinating. Brings up some interesting points:

hmm...interesting. I never thought of eating organic or delaying/avoiding vaccinations as an environmental thing as much as a best for our family thing. Good points though!
Yeah, it did bring up some points that I never would have considered, like recycling: Great program, but what about the pollution from the trucks? I thought it was fascinating, and it makes you think.

In addition to the reusable grocery bags, I've started using reusable mesh produce bags instead of the plastic ones in the produce section. At least the plastic store bags can be used for other purposes; the produce bags are much more difficult to repurpose. Plus stores have recycling centers for their regular plastic bags, but I don't think the produce bags are a type of plastic that can be recycled.
You are a smart girl! I never thought of that. What a fantastic idea!
