Cupcake biz is going well. I've been staying pretty busy. This month I did 8 events (approx 35 dozen cupcakes for the month!).
Nice to "see" you too! I miss being more involved on the board. I just have been so busy and mostly lurk, replying when I can.
In general... I'm slightly crazy.
There's the cupcakes on top of having a full time job and teaching group fitness and taking regular swim lessons. Of course, there's family... My dad is dealing with cancer, visiting my 8mo old niece, my DH just finished an intensive school program and is working on a bit of a career change, so he's been busy with that.
BUT... I just got back from Hawaii and that was lovely and relaxing. Just got back into the 'grind' today.
How are YOU? (you need to be on FB. I'm on FB WAY more than on here. It just is a bit easier w/ phone access, etc, ya know?)
Is the FB group more active than here? It makes me sad how dead this board has gotten when it used to be so crazy active. Can you link me to the FB page again? I'm not a fan of it only because I don't trust their security at all, and I also get nervous about outing myself to people I haven't met yet (not people like you, but there's just less anonymity over there, you know?). Maybe I'll create a RnV alias on FB
Eight events in a month is huge! So happy for you that the business is taking off! I don't know how you're juggling all of that stuff in your life, but if anyone can do it it's you.
Glad you had a great time in Hawaii. I just got back from Brazil on Monday morning myself. I've been trying to catch up with work and life ever since so I feel your pain.
I'm good overall too. Playing volleyball a couple nights a week, have had tons of visitors which is good but also kept us very busy, work is still boring but pays the bills, hoping to go to Africa on safari next year...that's about it!
I agree, I miss how active the board was... The FB board isn't overly active, but I'm friends w/ a lot of the ladies on the board, so I feel like I stay up to date with a good chunk of the folks around here.
