BR: How long in between?

Nervous new Mommy here!

Generally, how long do you wait after feeding LO before laying LO down to bed? During the night (when I sleep after putting her down) I am so nervous that she is going to spit up and choke on it. She spits up some, not every time, and it varies in amounts. Just wondering if there is a general idea about this.

There was literally no way I could wait since I was falling asleep while feeding her.  I remember lying on my stomach arm draped over into her RNP rocking her while I was asleep myself.   She's in the room with you, right?  I say just burp her really well and put her down.  You'll hear her if she needs you.

I totally thought you were about to ask how long in between kids and I was getting a little worried for your new mommy insanity!!!

Yeah, what Megan said. But, he slept in the rock & play which has an incline so I was a whole lot let worried about him!

Elle had major spit up issues--like a volcano--but never spit up in her sleep.  And she usually went right down after eating.

Yep! She's in a PNP next to the bed, maybe 3 feet away from us.

We fed and then laid them down right away.  We used the RnPs so they are elevated so we didn't have too many problems.  Sometimes they would spit up, but often were fine right away.
