Best price on a Cricut Express?
I have been looking for one on sale for a while now. I found one on sale for $199. Is this a good deal? Or do you think they would be even cheaper on Black Friday Sales? Should I wait or get it now?
Thanks for your help

What do you have? I would just use it fro scrap booking. I guess I have only really heard of the Criut.
Do you recommend something eles?
Stand up for something you believe in.
I have the expression and love it. Got it from Menards on Black Friday last year for about $150'ish. I've bought my cartridges from Amazon & Ebay for no more than $20.00. I did get one on clearance for $10.00 at Menards a while back. I have no problems with cutting unless it's a thick paper, then I have to mess around with the blade and pressure. I've made cards, birthday banners, gifts, scrapbooking things, etc.
Right now I have a Cricut personal that my mom got me for Christmas last year. Its ok, but never cuts quite right. It just doesn't cut fully. I was lucky enough to get Make The Cut software before PC sued them and SCAL so I use that software a lot with the C. I preordered a Zing and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. From what I've seen its awesome. Cutting chipboard, fleece, fabric, vinyl and lots of other things. You can use any blade housing from any other machine in it and I believe its designed so you can put a pen/marker whatever directly into the machine and "cut" with it. And one of the best features is the Print and cut. You print something from your printer (using Make the Cut that comes w/ it) set the reference points and it cuts easily and perfectly.
I've heard lots of people are very happy with Silhouette SD with the exception of the size limitation. I haven't heard much on the Cameo since it just came out but I'd imagine its just as great.
Another thing to think about is customer service. From what I've seen and heard, Sil and Zing/KNK/MTC are fare better than that of ProvoCraft.

CRAFTY ME
my read shelf:
The Silhouette SD can cut vinyl. Not sure about fabric but they have a bigger machine now, the Cameo that can do it all I believe.

Silhouette sells fabric interfacing so that you can cut fabric with it.

Oo excellent! Thanks!
Also, I know nothing about interfacing, but I googled it and looks like you can use regular interfacing instead of Silhouette's brand.

I have used both (and primarily use the silhouette with fabric) and they all work well.
