Because I need to vent.
H came home last night a informed me that one of his friend's wife is pg. Normally I would be happy at this situation except these people are 21 (her) and 22 (him). I don't know her very well, but he is extremely immature. They have been married for just over a year.
She doesn't work, he works at a fast food resturant. They can't afford their own apt. so they live with her parents. I think it is extremely irresponible and wrong to intentionally have a child when you clearly can't afford one.
Now H is mad at me because he thinks I am too cynical and should be happy for them.

Re: Can we do a FFFC?
Ugh! That is so annoying! It's really hard not to be irritated at people like this, especially if you or people you know really really want kids but are waiting until they are stable and ready for them. Ugh.
Yuck I would be annoyed too. DH's cousin is pregnant and she has no idea who the baby daddy is and she smokes still.
My FFFC, I don't know if I want kids. I just don't think I am cut out for them and it kinda of makes me sad. I go back and forth all the time about the idea of having kids and my feelings change from one day to the next.
On more, instead of having a good breakfast of cheerios and a banana all I want is a huge sinful Pumpkin Muffin.
Maybe it wasn't intentional??? I don't know...
If so, that is super frustrating...
This is my FFFC that is more of a vent than a confession, but is right along the same line as your post.
My 20 year old cousin is pregnant for the second time (her son was born less than a year ago, and she's due in Feb) with a guy who is pushing 30 who smokes pot and drinks all the time, who already has a 12 year old daughter (so she's also playing step mom to an almost teenaged girl)... Apparently since the first kid was born, they have been having problems, she just left him (good for her!), but now she's on her own, with no high school diploma, a kid under 1 year old and another on the way. I really really worry about her... She doesn't have family close by and the only way I know any of this is through facebook... It makes me so sad... I wish I could help, but in reality, I wish I could shake some sense into her.
ETA: Now she's "In a relationship" with a different guy, who she just went on a first date with, last night... I don't know what to do about her, she stresses me out. I guess she's and "adult" and will have to figure out her own problems.

I have another FFFC!
I cannot wait to see the Black Friday ads, when the come out. I think that should be soon!!!!!!!!! I have been going Black Friday shopping every year since we started dating!!! Not like the 3am black friday shopping, but more like the 8-9am black friday shopping (in other words, not the super crazy BF shopping, but just the slightly crazy BF shopping)

Do you know there is a website that already has some of them out? I keep getting emails when new ads are listed..
What?!?!?!?! Do you know what the website is?!?!?! I haven't seen any ads yet!!!

It worked!
I've been looking at this site, they don't have many good ads yet though... They do have some lists of what is going to be on sale though! Maybe I just need to sort through it a bit more and see what's going to be on sale.

Talk about cynical.... I'm reading all of this and thinking the same thing you are....PLUS how they have only been married for a year and shouldn't be having kids so quickly/young. My ex and I were married when we were 23 and 24, and were married for 4 years before he up and quit on our marriage. The best think we never did was have kids, because I can't even imagine going through a divorce at a young age with kids. So yeah, I'm even more cynical.
Hahahaha, I LOVE this!

Too funny!!!
I'm 34 and don't have kids and feel very fulfilled. Most people have a hard time believing a woman can feel fulfilled without being a mother (at least most of my friends with kids).
LOL This made my day!!!

Hahahahaha! Well he probably is.
Which leads to my confession: I do not think my baby nephew is cute. There, I said it. At first I thought maybe he was just going through an ugly newborn stage, but he 9 months and still one funny lookin' dude.
I know exactly how you feel. My younger cousin, she is 24, married a man in his 30's. Dont get me wrong, hes a great guy, both are very religious. She got pregnant on her honeymoon this past July. They cant afford a place of their own and have been living with my aunt....
A couple of my cousins were REALLY ugly babies. They look OK now, so there's hope for him
My confession is that I found a station playing Christmas music on the radio today, and I listened to it! I'm usually one of those "no Christmas until after Thanksgiving" but there was nothing good on the radio, and I wanted to sing!!!
I enjoy Christmas music, no matter what time of year it is. So I actually get excited when they start playing it on the radio 24/7.
