My H was a total asshat last night. He had been gone since Tuesday and barely said anything to me... apparently *I* was acting like an a-hole. (eyeroll). I admit to being grumpy with him but it was because he hardly even played with Nolan (he sat on the floor and watched tv... claimed that was playing with him) and didn't even ask me how my OB appt was.

Ugh. MEN!

I seem to be in a permanent state of annoyed with a friend of mine.  For example he is 30 years old and won't go to any get together with our group of friends without going with DH, my sister, my BIL or myself.  Tonight is our annual Halloween party with friends.  My sister and her DH are out of town and DH is traveling for work so I am the only one going. All week he kept asking if he could ride with me to the party. I told him several times that he can't ride with me because I have my high school homecoming alumni band thing tonight before I go to the party.  So now because I won't let him ride with me he isn't going to go at all.  Seriously is he a child?  Why he can't just show up to a party full of friends he has known for 5 years without me is beyond my understanding.  Plus he doesn't even live close to me.  So for us to ride together he has to drive way out of the way to my house to then drive back across town to where the party is.

Why can't people f-ing RSVP!!!  BIL and SIL haven't RSVPed to the party and I mentioned it to MIL and she was like well of course they'll be there and how they just assume we know they are coming.  I'm like "should I assume that everyone is coming then cause I haven't heard from many people!"  Then MILs brother and his wife haven't RSVPed either and she said the same thing that they are coming, but have they told me??? NO!!!  WTF people I need to order pizzas, make cupcakes, etc.  Sooo annoyed!!!

I work the front desk/reception area of our office. I have nothing to do as we have depositions in office all day with one attorney and the other is out of the office today. The first deposition started late, is running long, so that means I have the second deponent sitting in front of my desk huffing and puffing because he has to wait, while I pretend to have something to do. He keeps saying he has to leave soon, and I really hope he does so that I can just read in peace and not pretend to be hard at work.

DH just text me the quote for our car repairs. $1700. Grrreat. There are sooo  many things I would rather spend this much money on.
