I already posted some of this in the 5 things Friday post but..........
Today- Leaving work at 11:00 to hang out with DH. Tonight we're going to Common Grill for dinner and the Purple Rose Theater to see Escanaba in da Moonlight to celebrate our anniversary which was yesterday.
Tomorrow- CLEAN! My house needs cleaned bad. Probably do some shopping, not sure what else.
Sunday- A little halloween get together at my cousins house.
Cooking dinner for my Dad and hubby tomorrow, and then going to a Halloween party as Garth from Wayne?s World, going cheap this year!
Sunday hopefully carving a pumpkin, or just getting a pumpkin.
You quilt? I?ve always wanted to make a quilt. I have all the materials in a closet; I just don?t know where I would actually get it quilted. Do you have one of those giant machines?!
I do quilt! I really enjoy it! I don't have one of those big machines, I just hand quilt them on my sewing machine. I have a "quilting foot" which really helps. I usually just make baby quilts or twin size quilts and those are small enough that my sewing machine can handle it. I did recently finish a t-shirt quilt that fit on a queen size bed (for a friend of mine) and it worked out okay. That is getting a bit big though...

That?s good to know, I?m definitely going to have to look into a quilting foot. Do you have pics of the t-shirt quilt?
I do! There is a post on my blog (the link just above my siggy pic). Here is another quilt I've finished... I don't seem to have any other pictures on my computer right now (i'm at work... I'll post some if i find them though!)
ETA: Here is another one I found... (This was my first quilt!)

Love it! and the tshirt one its looks so fun! You can make the thshirt quilt out of anything to make a great theme.
All the material I have is for a full size quilt, maybe if I tone it down and make a baby size quilt I wont feel so overwhelmed with this.
That's definitely the way start! I did a queen size quilt to start with and it was pretty overwhelming. You should give it a shot though! It's a lot of fun!

Kzoo- You are so talented! I'm jealous
Tonight - not sure yet
Saturday- Going to Birch Run w/ mom. Hope to find some Christmas presents.
Sunday- Niece's b-day party and the usual Sunday stuff (grocery shopping, laudry, clean)
This sounds exciting! I need details, even though it seems pretty self explanatory. lol
During the fall and winter months the staff at my work take turns making soup for everyone on Mondays. It promotes staff bonding and interaction and it's great cuz you don't have to worry about packing lunch!
I'm really excited that I get Halloween! I'm making pumpkin soup and chocolate cookies in the shape of cats and/or bats!
