How do you like NROLFW?  I have thought about trying it out...I kept putting off learning anything new until after that test though.

Is there a book or website or how does it work?  I'm curious and you're the first person I've actually *known* to do it.

Re: **Jaay**

  • I really like it and you're right it is a book. I'm always flipping around from one full body workout to another so I like that this one is a constant build. I think the entire program is 6 months (3 days a week) and then I'll probably do one of the ones in DH's book (just the NROL). The Health and Fitness board is really big on these routines so there's a lot of information over there too if you ever get curious.

The actual routine is a small part of the book. There's a lot of good nutrition information and then a lot of details on form for each exercise. I talked to a few personal trainers and they really like Alwyn Cosgrove and go by a lot of his principles as far as his belief in 'functional' training so I liked having that vote of confidence too.

If you want a sample of the workouts I can send you the phase I'm doing right now.

    Happiest place on Earth!

  • Thanks for the info. I had seen it discussed in H&F which had peaked my curiosity. I would love to see your typical workout. I will probably start after the turkey trot on Thanksgiving.
