Thank you ladies

I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers. DH was able to leave work early. We were both able to say goodbye and bury him in the backyard. I explained it to R anyway because I'm sure he would wonder where his doggy is.

I am just heartbroken. I wish I had noticed if something was wrong earlier. I was getting ready to take him to the vet today for a check up since I had been so busy with trying to deal with two children and PPD.

I am grateful to know that he went in his sleep and isn't in pain anymore if he was. I still feel robbed of time with him. I also feel guilty because I feel like I should have noticed if anything was off.

Re: Thank you ladies

  • I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you have a VERY full plate right now. Heck, two young kids is a full plate--the PPD just sucks.

FWIW, dogs hide when they are not feeling well. There might not have been any outward change in his behavior. Mourn the loss of your beloved pet, but don't beat yourself up.
