Surprise birthday dinner party - need ideas!
Hi ladies -
We are throwing a surprise birthday dinner party for my Mom at a restaurant in my hometown. We are going to be in this private room here.

I want to have a couple flower arrangements and old pictures around the room. How would mason jars full of flowers look? If ok - should I spray paint them? We will have a glass cupcake stand and varied frames. Any other ideas for decorations?
Re: Surprise birthday dinner party - need ideas!
Ditto on the feel of the room.
Another "simple" option would be a row of bud vases with single roses.
Googe luck! It's a very pretty room.
The room is already decorated, so you don't need to add much. I'd do like they did in the photo and run flowers down the middle of the table and intersperse framed photos there.
I'd head to Hobby Lobby and look for little, low containers. I agree that Mason jars don't feel quite right.
