Positive Thoughts Needed!
So I have my big RE appt today!! It's at 1:15 and I'm leaving work in an hour. As the hours tick by I'm getting more and more nervous. We are only going to be talking about the PCOS b/c if infertility or getting pregnant is even mentioned at the appt, it'll be coded as a fertility visit and my insurance won't pay for it. I'm hoping once the PCOS stuff gets straightened out, fertility won't be an issue and if it is, we'll cross that bridge then.
And in other news....I got my PERIOD yesterday! All on my OWN....for the first time in over a year after stopping Depo! I am soooo excited (who ever would have thought I'd say that??)...hopefully this means good things for us

I'm really annoyed that if you dare let it slip that you're interested in getting pregnant and are having trouble because of this that BAM the doctor has to run and code it that way and insurance won't cover. It's just so wrong.
Anyway, positive thoughts that you get the answers you need, and YAYY on the period! Hahah
Oh, that's exciting, good luck! And yay for AF!
Thank you all for the positive thoughts and all...I appreciate them! So, my appt went ok...not as great as what I wanted it to be, but not bad. He confirmed that I def have PCOS and he is sending me for the 2 hour glucose tolerance test (yippee) and I go back to see him in 2 weeks to go over the results and plan of attack. However, before I get pregnant, he wants me to lose a decent amount of weight in order to have a healthier pregnancy for me and for baby. So, obviously that's not what I wanted to hear and in my mind I'm making it out to be worse than it really is. But, I know that it's for the best. Thanks again for your support...it means a lot!

Well at least you have something with the test and hopefully he'll come up with a good plan after you get the results back.
Losing weight will be hard, but just think about how much better you'll feel especially once you get pregnant. And we are always here to help you out and keep you motivated!
Ditto this. And good luck with everything, I hope that it all goes well. And we are always here for motivation or whatever else you need.
HUGS! I'm glad you got some definite answers and your period, yay! Hope that you can work with this Dr to make this happen!!!
