Since we had no power yesterday I was forced to sit down and read :gasp:: and not do any work, I read Still Alice, by Lisa Genova. What an incredible book! It's about Harvard Psychology Professor and her diagnosis of Early Onset Alzheimer's, it takes you through 3 years of her journey, it's a truly heartbreaking/warming book. I would highly recommend this book, I had tears in my eyes most of the book. For those of you especially touched by this disease (I watched my great grandma and my grandmother is currently battling this awful disease) you will see so many similarities between your loved one and the main character, it's incredible.

Great book!  I felt the same way reading it and thinking of Brent's grandma.

This was definitely a great book. I love how the author made a fiction book seem like non-fiction.

I have it sitting next to me on my desk, but with my mom, I don't think I can bring myself to read it yet I hear it's an excellent book though.

 Siobhan, is your mom diagnosed with Alzheimer's?  If so, I am always here for support.  My father got diagnosed in 2008.
